Allergies

We are all aware that there are many types of allergies. The Allergy Patients Association estimates that one in three people suffers from an allergy. That’s an incredible number. But what can you do about it?

At first, I thought it was a disease you either have or you don’t. And one you can’t get rid of. Now I’ve learned that you can address an allergy by changing the “patient’s” behavior. By becoming aware of certain aspects of your behavior and making changes, an allergy can even disappear.

Because no one is born with an allergy, whether it’s to a dog, cat, or dust, we develop them later in life. The substances that cause allergic reactions in our bodies have always been present. They only activate our immune system when our subconscious wants to send us a warning signal. Then, an internal reaction is triggered by an external stimulus, such as pollen.

We often don’t know why we have specific reactions to certain experiences because it’s difficult to remember when and how such a reaction pattern developed.

Imagine that you were confronted with something painful in your childhood. It could be anything—an experience where your subconscious had to protect you. Your subconscious is programmed to ensure your survival; your survival strategies are stored there, and new strategies are constantly being developed and stored. The moment your subconscious associates a particular substance with that painful experience, the next time you encounter that substance, your subconscious will give you a warning signal. It wants to protect you from another painful experience.

Your subconscious does this by instructing your immune system to produce chemicals that trigger unpleasant physical reactions. This makes you think twice before coming near that substance again—the substance that subconsciously reminds you of the pain from the previous experience. This is the subconscious’s way of keeping you away from the pain; of protecting you.

How does it work?

Hypnosis and NLP provide a means of direct communication with the subconscious. During this communication, the subconscious is asked to stop associating the allergens with the painful experience of the past. By communicating with the subconscious, you can ask it to replace the old survival strategy with a new one, thus eliminating the association with the old painful experience. When the subconscious accepts that the old behavior is no longer desirable, you will be freed from your allergies.

What can you do about it?

The solution is to change the program and adjust the strategy so that your subconscious has an alternative way to protect you.

How do you get rid of your allergy?

When you come to me to get rid of your allergy, we’ll do a few things. The treatment to alleviate the discomfort of your allergic reaction is based on scientific research into hypnosis and allergic reactions, as well as the knowledge I’ve gained over the years. We’ll go through several phases to help you overcome your reaction.

Session 1: Identifying your allergy behavior. Then we’ll prepare your subconscious for the desired change. This session lasts approximately 1 hour.

Session 2: Eliminating Allergy Behavior. Your subconscious receives new information to deal with the allergy differently. This session lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Session 3: In this final session, we confirm and solidify the change in your subconscious. This final session lasts approximately 1 hour.
